I went to the Post Office today, I wasn't able to get done what I needed, have to wait a week, whatev, they're a monoploy. I know one day there will be competition and USPS will die once we are able to allow other entities to touch our mailboxes, but that's another story for another day... at least I didn't go "postal". So, feeling a bit down I walked over to Rainbow Bridge and got a double shot of wheatgrass juice (you should try it if you haven't -- nice little energy boost), then headed home. On the way home is Bart's Books, the most unusual used book store east or west of old Miss. I find a few 35 cent books on the outside shelves and go in to pay -- or... maybe look around a bit, I felt a bit of serendipty pumping through my veins. Serendipity and a used bookstore, is that like chocolate and peanut butter? I found "Utopia or Oblivion" by Bucky Fuller and "Creating a Civilization" by the Tofflers. I've gone through about 2/3's of the 108 page "Creating a Civilization". It was published in 1994, so I'm sure it was really far out back then. 10 years later, you can see what they wrote starting to become real, and it's still like "far out man" far out. If you run across this book, pick it up. If someone wants my copy when I'm done, you're welcome to it, I'll mail it to you, just leave me a comment. I don't want to blow this out of proportion, the book doesn't open your mind like "The Book" by Alan Watts, or Healing by Todd Rundgren with all the lights out, but it's good! Tuesday, June 8

Woe is me. I left my Canon PowerShot S30 on the plane in Minnesota last week in our mad rush to make the connecting flight to Grand Forks. This was on a NorthWest flight from LA to Minneapolis. If anyone finds it, please let me know. Some of the last pictures were of some Air New Zealand planes with "Lord of the Rings" paintings on them and of my daughter in the airport. There might also be a few photos of Albuquerque. Since I lost the camera I didn't get any pictures of the graduation at GF, nor of our side trip up to Winnipeg which was a really neat city. I guess we have another reason to go back now :-) Oh yeah, this is my first post with Blogjet, thanks to Ross for the suggestion. I wish it had inline spell checking like "The Bat", perhaps it's already on the drawing board.
